Mission of Conference

  • Stimulate communication and cooperation between the HLB and ZC communities
  • Transfer research results to growers and other stakeholders
  • Discuss effective, economical methods for controlling the vectors and diseases

Conference Venues

  • McAllen International Airport is served by Continental and American Airlines and is within 5 miles of hotels
  • Conference Hotels are within 5 miles of Convention Center
  • Hotels provide complimentary shuttle service from airport to hotels
  • Bus service will be provided from hotels to Convention Center in morning and back to hotels in evening

Translation service from English to Spanish will be provided

Poster Sessions

  • A poster session will be held during the reception on November 16 that is open to all attendees
  • If interested in presenting a poster, first submit an abstract of your poster concept for consideration.  Send your abstract/proposal on citrus HLB to John da Graca, TAMUK Citrus Center, JDaGraca@ag.tamu.edu, and on potato ZC to Dennis Gross, Plant Pathology at TAMU, D-Gross@tamu.edu.
